Risk Management

OpenFi’s development strategy is based on a “phased launch + modular expansion” design approach, aiming to gradually complete the full deployment of a decentralized bond protocol and establish a sustainable growing DeFi sovereign economy. Below is a detailed timeline and development vision:

Phased Deployment Timeline (2025-2026)

Q2 2025

  • Official launch of OpenFi mainnet, with core modules including the Bonding system and Rebase automatic compounding mechanism activated.

  • Initiate the initial bond liquidity incentivization plan to attract early users to stake assets and participate in the protocol.

  • Complete the launch of Protocol Controlled Value (PCV) and Protocol Owned Liquidity (POL) mechanisms, stabilizing the system foundation.

Q3 2025

  • Launch OpenFi DAO governance upgrade, introducing a “governance committee + community voting” dual governance process.

  • Launch $NEC governance token voting system, initiating community proposal mechanisms and incentivization systems.

  • Roll out the loyalty staking reward plan and contributor points system to encourage community-driven incentives.

Q4 2025

  • Launch steBNB liquidity re-staking asset, transforming $BNB into re-staking yield-bearing certificates.

  • Launch steUSD testnet to test cross-chain collateralization and stablecoin generation logic.

  • Begin OpenFi SDK developer integration plan.

Q1 2026

  • Officially launch steUSD and integrate with mainstream lending protocols such as Venus, Aave, etc.

  • Complete the steUSD and multi-chain asset mapping design, laying the foundation for cross-chain settlement networks.

  • Optimize mainnet performance to improve bond order processing speed and user interface experience.

Q2 2026

  • Launch OpenFi multi-chain deployment plan, extending the protocol to ETH, ARB, Polygon, and other major EVM chains.

  • Support native assets from each chain (such as USDT, DAI) as collateral for bond issuance, enhancing treasury asset diversity.

Q3 2026

  • Launch the “Open Bond Aggregator,” allowing external protocols to integrate into the OpenFi bond issuance market.

  • Provide API interfaces and contract toolkits to encourage other DeFi projects or Web3 protocols to build derivative bond products.

  • Develop the “on-chain treasury bond” module to expand institutional participation.

Q4 2026

  • Start RWA (Real-World Asset) integration plan, collaborating with real asset tokenization protocols to launch on-chain accounts receivable, government bond tokenization, etc.

  • Build a stable yield real-world bond pool, creating OpenFi’s “real asset reserve.”

  • Complete decentralized audit tracking systems to provide transparency for the RWA module.
